Osage Prairie Trail.

Thanks to the generous funding from the Joe and Jean Holliman Family Foundation, Up With Trees will be planting 850 trees and significantly cleaning up the Osage Prairie Trail from Greenwood Cultural Center to 36th Street North.

The Osage Prairie Trail Project will both create and significantly improve access to close-to-home parks and recreational opportunities for Tulsans. Trail revitalization will include massive clean-up of the trail and surrounding recreational areas, planting of street trees for improved walkability of the trail, which is adjacent to several North Tulsa neighborhoods, and will improve safety of the trail, as well as air quality and food accessibility for local residents through the planting a variety of tree species. The project will also significantly enhance the quality of Osage Trail by replacing, planting, and upgrading the natural infrastructure to be able to provide high priority outdoor recreation services (known to be high priority through multiple North Tulsa master plans).

Overall, the Osage Trail project will provide for education, beautification, safety, food sustainability, health, and community pride through outdoor recreation space revitalization.
