Tulsa urban forest master plan.

Our plan is to manage, enhance and grow Tulsa’s tree resource to build an urban forest that is safe, resilient and connected to the community.

About tree canopy.

What is a tree canopy?

Tree canopy coverage refers to the amount of ground shaded when a tree is fully leafed out. 15,000 trees need to be planted in Tulsa each year for twenty years to reach the goal.

50 years of progress.

Since 1976, we have emerged as a leading force in transforming Tulsa’s urban landscape — building a reputation rooted in expertise, innovation and impact. Trees are now widely recognized as powerful solutions to some of our most pressing urban challenges. By building on the foundation of our proven programs and partnerships, we’re launching a three-year campaign to raise $6 million to scale our impact and invest in the systems and support networks across the community.
