American Plum

American Plum trees are typically favored due to their plump red fruit and beautiful white clusters of flowers. These smaller flowering trees have an average lifespan of 10 - 15 years and are adaptable to a range of soil types. American Plums form thickets, sprouting from the base of the tree, which produce a multitude of small plums (when at least two trees are present), and extremely fragrant blossoms.
