Dynamite Crape Myrtle
Known for its extravagant, attractive bark, fast growth, and tolerance of a wide-variety of soil conditions, the Dynamite Crape Myrtle stays true to its name. Having petals that are wrinkled like crepe paper, the Dynamite variety is the first true red tree form of Crape Myrtle, producing cherry red flowers even in full sun and hot conditions. It also features leaves that emerge crimson then mature to a dark green, becoming moderately leathery and has drought and mildew resistance. The Dynamite Crape Myrtle attracts bees and provides a habitat for birds.
