Eastern Wahoo

The Eastern Wahoo is a native tree often found in open woods or near streams. In the spring, it will have hanging purple flowers, while in the fall it will have beautiful fall color and vibrant red berries. The main trunk is covered in thin gray bark, is slightly rough to touch, and is slightly bitter to taste.
