Gingko
The Gingko tree is laced through history, dating as far back as 200 million years ago. Being one of the longest living trees, some have been documented to live for over 1,000 years. Many are drawn to the unique delicately fanned look of the leaves, while also appreciating the striking yellow lime colors they gain in the fall. With longevity as an advantage, this tree grows at a slower rate, but has high resistance to urban stresses such as ozone pollution, smoke, heat, weight of ice, wind, confined root systems, and pests.
