Kentucky Coffeetree

Kentucky Coffeetrees are tolerant to urban conditions and are adaptable to a wide range of soils and climates. They can survive dry, compacted and alkaline soil, but prefer moist, rich soils. They don’t have serious disease or insect problems, but debris can be a problem in the spring when pods fall or in the fall when their large leaves drop. Due to their debris, they are best suited for large areas such as parks.
