The Osage Orange, also called Bowwood, is a thorny tree native to the United States. Most commonly, when planted, this tree is treated as a hedge as it grows densely and provides good screening. The Osage Orange has simple orange leaves and its large yellow-green wrinkled fruit contains a milky sap that can produce dermatitis in humans.
