Scarlet Oak

This versatile tree is native to the eastern region of North America, and can be grown in all soils except for alkaline. It provides a brilliant red foliage in the fall which extends well into the winter, contrasting beautifully with the snow. The Scarlet Oak produces acorns which are a valuable food source for the surrounding wildlife.
