This is a beautiful, large shade tree known for its leaves which are a vibrant green on top and a shimmering silver underneath. It produces extremely fragrant clusters of flowers in the summer months attracting bees and other pollinators. Although native to Europe and West Asia, this tree has been a popular choice in North America for over 200 years.
