Originating in the United Kingdom, this particular magnolia is a small tree or shrub, producing showy, fragrant, white flowers in the spring. It blooms best in full sun, and also has an attractive, smooth bark. This tree is best planted as a single specimen, often used in beds along the foundation of a house.
