Sugar Hackberry

Commonly referred to as the Sugarberry, this is a large, fruit-bearing tree as the name suggests. It prefers moist soils and can often be found growing along streams and river banks. The fruit is popular among many species of birds, the leaves make for good shade, and the tree itself is resistant to urban pollution. This tree often grows to a height around 80ft with a similar canopy spread.
