Weeping Willow

Beloved for their delicate looking ‘weeping’ branches, Weeping Willow trees are many landscape designers’ favorite when aiming to add some drama. Their silver-green leaves turn a deep yellow in the fall, providing a colorful flourish in the spring time when the yellow flowers begin to bloom. Weeping Willows do well a wide variety of soils, but have quite a few pests and diseases to which they are susceptible. They are also known to have extensive root systems which seek out water, causing problems when planted nearby sewer lines.
