Willow Oak

As the name suggests, Willow Oaks are often selected for the appearance of their willow-like leaves. These trees do well in wet and dry conditions, and have no significant pest issues. Willow Oaks have a golden yellow fall color and would be an excellent selection to beautify a home or street. The acorns it produces attract nearby wildlife, such as squirrels, turkey, and deer. Although Willow Oaks typically have round crown shapes, a variety named the Ascendor Willow Oak grows more upright in a way that does not encourage ‘included bark’.
